AUDIO Web
cast Stream Speed Examples:
32K Sample (FM Quality Voice - Stereo) Music sounds great
audio echoes a bit as it's monorail.
19K Sample (Voice Quality - Mono) good all around compromise.
11K Sample (Voice Quality - Mono) WLA standard. Allows most audiences to
connect.
4K Sample (Voice Quality - Mono) Very poor audio quality allows widest
possible audience connection.
Notes:
1. Your event venue must have a telephone line which accepts incoming,
non-collect, calls from anywhere in North America and which does not
have a fax machine connected or telephone extensions while your web
(net) cast is in progress. This non-switchboard telephone line must be
available a min. 15 minutes prior to your live event. Costs associated
with the provision of this telephone line are yours.
2. If your venue has a VOIP long distance plan on the intended telephone
line you should also make sure that it will not cut-out, disconnect, at
a pre-arranged time that will disconnect your web (net) cast.
3. Pre event payment may be required for this service. If so it
is due a minimum
7-days prior to event.
4. Cell phone venues are strongly discouraged. If they are the only way
then (a) no colour commentary can be provided, and (b) if any
additional charges are incurred they will be added to your account as a
disbursement.
5. We have experienced web (net) cast PBP and Colour commentators on
Vancouver Island, the B.C. Lower mainland, in Alberta, Ontario and parts
of the U.S.A. Outside of these areas or in the case of booking requiring
crews to travel, such travel related expense is your responsibility.
6. Access to the venue for our staff is your responsibility.
